CDG2 to Avenue du Pdt Kennedy

Postby chiyauyan on Wed Jul 01, 2009 7:23 am

Hi Ben,
I plan to travel to Avenue du Pdt kennedy on RER with my luggage bags
1 Is it the simpliest way to get change from line RER B to RER C at St michel Nocte Dame Station or any other suggestion
2 Do I need to carry my large luggage stair up & down for the interchange
3 Is there any escalators available at these stations
4 is it annoying to others passagers with my large luggage bags
5 Line C has 8 different terminals, so how can I get on the right train to my destination or do I have to get change at several stations along the line ( e.g. chanp de Mar)

Thanks

1) RER B to RER C at Saint-Michel is the easiest way to make this transfer
2) You will encounter stairs at Saint-Michel. Likely 2 flights of stairs of about 20 steps each.
3) Saint-Michel is a very old station and is lacking in escalators.
4) Large luggage is common for any station that connects with the RER B (since it travels to & from CDG airport) so people generally are not annoyed
5) You basically have only one line of the RER C that will get you to Avenue du President Kennedy, which is Pontoise/St Ouen. This is direct and you don't need any transfers. Any other RER C train with different "terminus stations" than those previously mentioned, will not get you to Ave du Pdt Kennedy.

Best of luck,

Ben
