does anyone know cost of train from ebbsfleet, england to paris and then from paris to madrid and any info re times.

Hi Peter,
You can find full schedules of Eurostar trains from Eurostar.com.
For Paris to Madrid you'll need to check Voyages-SNCF.com for tickets and schedules. Trains will leave from Paris Montparnasse station and arrive at Atocha or Chamartin stations in Madrid.
