Hi,

I'm going to be in Paris next weekend. I've found out a rock festival is going to take place near Pond de Saint-Cloud, and I'd like to figure out how hard will it be to get there. My hotel is near Arc de Triomphe. What I'd like to know is this:

1. What lines should I use in order to get there? (I guess 6 and then 10, but not sure)
2. How long should the ride take?
3. Till what time are the relevant lines active?

I know these are all questions I can get answers to once I get there, but I need this info in order to make plans. Would really appreciate it if you had the answers.

Hi Eran,

Metro Lines 6 and 10 are correct.

The ride will take about 35 minutes during the evening.

If the concert is on the weekend (Fridays/Saturday or a holiday evening) the last train from Pont de St-Cloud leaves at 01:47 in the morning. Otherwise the last train is at 00:47.

I'd recommend buying two tickets at the start of your trip, so that you'll have one ready for your return trip later. Some ticket windows close before the stations themselves thus ticket vending machines are your only means of buying tickets and not all credit cards work with these machines.

If you happen to stay out later than the close of Metros, remember that there are Noctilien bus lines that operate throughout the night, although not very frequently and they have limited routes, but at least it's something. The N12 Noctilien bus line runs between Pont de St-Cloud and Chatelet Les Halles. Then from there N24 in direction Bezons/Grand Cerf passes through Charles de Gaulle Etoile (Arc de Triomphe) as does N11 direction Pont de Neuilly.
