From CDG Airport to Timhotel Gare Du Nord

Postby Jacelyn on Tue Mar 10, 2009 7:27 am

Hi Ben, thanks for your sharing in parisbytrain.com. I am Jacelyn from Malaysia. I am going to Paris on 23 March, and I have few questions to ask, may I know:

1. which is the best and less expensive way from CDG Airport to Timhotel Gare Du Nord, 10, rue Philippe de Girard 75010 Paris, France?
2. where is the nearest Metro or RER station from Timhotel Gare Du Nord?
3. From google map, I found that the nearest station is La Chapelle‎ station, can I take Subway services from CDG Airport to La Chapelle‎ station, and then walk to Timhotel Gare Du Nord?

Thank you and have a nice day!

Regards,
Jacelyn

Jacelyn, From Charles de Gaulle Airport you take the RER-B train to Gare du Nord. From there, it is difficult to reach La Chapelle by metro and it takes a lot of time. You can walk from Gare du Nord to rue Philippe de Girard in about 10 minutes. Or you can take a taxi. In the RER-train you could use a Carte Orange (zones 1-5, 33 euros for a week) or buy a single ticket at 8,40 euros. From rue Philppe Girard La Chapelle is the nearest metro station.
