Porte Maillot to Noisy-Champs

Postby guest on Thu Feb 05, 2009 5:41 am

Hi,

I'm traveling from Paris Beauvais to Paris [Porte Maillot] via the shuttle bus and from there to the Noisy-Champs station along the RER-A line, where my hotel is located. This will be a one way trip followed by another trip back to Paris [St. Lazare this time] a couple of days later. I was hoping you could advise me on what would be the most suitable type of tickets I could pick up for these trips.

Thanks a ton, in advance !

Cheers.

A slight correction...

I'm traveling from Paris Beauvais to Paris [Porte Maillot] via the shuttle bus and from there to the metro station Corvisart. From there a while later, to the Noisy-Champs station along the RER-A line, where my hotel is located. This will be a one way trip followed by another trip back to Paris [St. Lazare this time] a couple of days later. I was hoping you could advise me on what would be the most suitable type of tickets I could pick up for these trips.

Hi there,

For your trip from Porte Maillot to Corvisart, purchase a single Ticket t+ from either a ticket vending machine or from the ticket window (have Euro coins handy).

For your trip from Corvisart to Noisy Champs along the RER A, purchase a Billet Ile-de-France and use that for the entire trip, on both the Metro and the RER A. You can purchase 2 Billet Ile-de-France to save the trouble of purchasing another for the return trip.

On the return trip you'll use the Billet Ile-de-France for RER A right to Gare St. Lazare (may be listed as just St-Lazare).

Best regards,

Ben
