I'm asking the Paris transit authority about when they close for New Year's eve.

Hi Valeria,

I've posted information about the Metro/RER Schedule for New Year's Eve in Paris here.

The RER C line will operate normally, last trains departing around 23:30. See the above post for more information on the Metro extended hours.
