RER from CDG to Paris + Luggage

Postby ritts-europe on Fri Sep 26, 2008 2:43 pm

Hi
I am planning to take RER train B from CDG Airport to Garde du Nord station in Paris. I will have one big bag and one small bag with me. Does any one knows if travelling in RER with luggage is feasible? Is there any other better and economical way to reach paris from CDG?

Thanks in advance

Hi Ritts,

I've just posted an article about taking the bus or coach line from CDG Airport to central Paris that you may want to consider if you have concerns about lugging baggage up and down flights of stairs.

Best regards,

Hello!
Tomorrow I'll have to reach Saint Lazare train station with a group(8person+luggages) from CDG. How can I manage to do fast and cheap? How many time do we have to transfer and where?
Thank you very much for your help!:)
Best regards!

Hi Prec,

First take the RER B from CDG to Paris getting off at Gare du Nord. From there, walk with your group to the RER E station called Magenta (all inside, the two stations are connected via tunnels). Take this RER E train in direction St-Lazare. It's only one stop and it's the terminus, so you can't miss it.

Use the same ticket (billet Ile-de-France, 8,40€) for the RER B on the RER E to St-Lazare.

Best regards,

Ben
