Schedule assistance

Postby Alan on Mon Dec 29, 2008 5:52 am

To whom it may concern,

I need some assistance about travelling by train. I am arriving at CDG airport on the 31st December at around 18:00. I already saw the useful steps how to get the RER B and so on. I need to stop at the Denfert Rochereau station to change to Metro. My small concern is about the schedule shown, because I do not understand the timetable, example 18:05 PSIT or 18:14 LYRE. Can you please help me with these codes? Is it possible to catch a train for my destination from there, and how much time (approx) will it take me to arrive to my destination.

I would like to thank you in advance for your assistance ,and I am looking forward to your reply at your earliest convenience.

Regards,

Alan.

Hi Alan,

The codes for the RER B train times leaving Airport Charles de Gaulle are not significant for you, they're only there to help frequent travelers remember where the train is heading as a final destination, which is beyond Paris.

Every RER B train leaving CDG will stop at all stations within Paris including Denfert-Rochereau. When you're finished collecting your baggage and passing through customs, make your way to the CDG Airport train station, purchase your ticket and take the next RER B train at your convenience.

Travel time from CDG Airport to Paris, station Denfert Rochereau, is approximately 40 minutes.

Best regards,

Ben
