Ticket t+ on buses

Postby Elke289 on Thu Jan 15, 2009 12:30 am

Per the RATP website:
"After validating it every time he boards a bus or tram, the customer has an hour and a half between the first validation and the last validation to make one or more connections."

Do I understand this correctly?
I can board a bus eg at Trocadero - get off along the way - get onto any number of buses afterwards as long as it is within 1 hour and a half from first boarding at Trocadero. All on one ticket t+ ticket.

Thanks!

Hi Elke,

What you say is correct: you can make an unlimited number of bus to bus connections with a single Ticket t+ during its 90 minute validity period. But, you're not supposed to back-track using the same Ticket t+, i.e. using the same ticket for a round trip.

And remember that you cannot do this with tickets purchased on board buses, only with Ticket t+ purchased at ticket counters or from vending machines.

I hope this answers your question, Elke.

Best regards,

Ben
