Hello, I am planning a trip on Saturday to the champagne region. I was considering Reims or Chateau thierry. Which is better?

How do I get from Montparnasse to gare est?

Mike,

Chateau Thierry or Reims... I have a personal preference for champagne, so, Reims would be my choice. There are some big name champagne producers there that put on some impressive tours.

Montparnasse to Gare de l'Est: simply take Metro Line 4 from Montparnasse Bienvenue, direction Porte de Clignacourt until Gare de l'Est station.

Thanks Ben, I will look but what is your preference in Reims? I am afraid some of the wineries will be closed on Saturday with the holidays and winter setting in. Do you know which are open? Mike
