Train from St.-Lazare station to Tour Eiffel

Hi Ben,

I have been studying the metro maps you provided (great by the way). We will be in Paris on Monday 6/23 at 10:10 a.m., taking train from Le Havre to Gare St.-Lazare, and taking the train back from Gare St.-Lazare to Le Havre at 5:25 p.m.
Considering time restraints, which route would you recommend to be the quickest from Gare St.-Lazare to Tour Eiffel:
#1: St.-Lazare (line 14) to Trocadero and walking to the tower (approx. walking time please) OR
#2: St.-Lazare (line 14) or Haussmann St.-Lazare (line E) to Invalides, change train to Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel OR
#3: Taxi

Thank you,
Sandy

Quickest would always be a taxi. Second comes line 14 to Trocadéro. A walk to the Eiffel Tower takes 5-7 minutes. Your second possibility takes ages.
