My hotel is near Asnieres sur seine station and I will travel to that place from St. Lazare station. Should I buy a transilien ticket or just using the paris visite pass ?Thank you

If you do more than 4 one-way trips per day within zones 1-3, buy the Paris Visite Pass. Otherwise, single tickets will be cheaper.
