Does the ReR from Charles deGaulle airport to Notre dame go underground?

The RER B train from CDG Airport to Paris travels above ground up until Stade de France station.  After Stade de France station the RER B continues underground through to Gare du Nord and Saint-Michel Notre Dame and beyond as it travels through central Paris.
