How to get to CDG to Paris metro station Chateau Rouge ??

By | March 10, 2016 | in

I will be arriving at CDG the night time when RER B will going to be under construction. I was going to take the RER B to Gare du Nord and then transfer to get to Chateau Rouge but After reading posts from this website, seems like I have to take the alternative bus to  AULNAY-SOUS-BOIS then go to Gare Du Nord and finally transfer to get to Chateau Rouge. Is there any other way to get to Chateau Rouge at that late time (arrival is at 10:30pm)? If not where do I take the alternative bus? lastly I am planning to by Navigo Decourvte pass, so will this work for the alternative bus too if I have to take the bus? Quite nervous since it is my first time traveling there and with this unexpected construction is making me more nervous haha
Thank you so much in advance!!

The simplest route from CDG Airport to Paris at night is the RER B to Gare du Nord, then transferring to Metro Line 4 direction Porte de Clignacourt until Chateau Rouge.
If you're departing CDG after the last RER B (replacement bus) has left, you can take the Noctilien (night) bus # 143 towards Gare de l'Est to the terminus/end of line then take Bus # 56 four stops until Chateau Rouge.  This bus leaves from Terminal 1 door #8, Terminal 3 at Roissypole bus loop, and Terminal 2 TGV station (although you would have to ask the train ticket or help staff where this bus leaves from exactly, I'm unfamiliar with this bus).  You can buy tickets direct from the bus driver although he cannot sell you a Navigo Découverte.  You have to talk to the ticket windows at either Roissypole or CDG Terminal 2 train station for help with getting a Navigo Découverte card.
