These stations look like they are in a very busy area. I would like to walk between the stations in a safe manner. Please advise. Merci.

Metro Line 1 ends at Grande Arche at La Defense, as does the RER A. They are in the same station and a very short walk from each other.
The area is quite busy as its inside/underneath a very popular shopping mall called Les Quatres Temps. The Metro/RER station itself at La Defense is within a transportation hub attached to Les Quatres Temps.
