WE are a group of 12 and we will be arriving on a Thursday morning and depart on the following Monday. Is it still practical to purchase the Navigo Découverte pass for the week which covers only until the Sunday?

If you're planning more than 4 one-way trips per day, then yes, it's worth getting the Navigo Découverte on Thursday when you arrive.
