Why do you say to take CDGVAL shuttle train to Terminal 3 when Schedule says Paris trains leave from CDG 1

I will arrive at CDG 1 so I ready you instructions which say I need to take CDGVAL shuttle train to Terminal 3 to get RER to Paris.
 
Then you link to the official Schedule says Paris trains leave from CDG 1!
If the RER trains leave from CDG1 [where arrive at] then why do you tell me to go to Terminal 3?
