Prices Coverage Buy Online Buy In-Person

The Paris 2024 pass will replace the Navigo Week Pass and Navigo Day Pass during the Paris Olympics.

To repeat…

The Navigo Week Pass will NOT be sold during the Paris Olympics.

No one can buy the Navigo Week pass during the Paris Olympics.

Even residents of Paris & Ile-de-France cannot buy the Navigo Weekly pass during the Paris Olympics.

Nor can visitors buy the Navigo Week Pass from July 20 – Sept 8 2024.

Nobody!

The same for day passes: The Navigo Day Pass will not be sold / available to buy during the Paris Olympics.

Anyone who needs temporary public transportation passes will be directed to buy the Paris 2024 transit pass.

March 20, 2024: You can now buy the Olympics Paris 2024 pass online for home delivery. For countries where the Paris 2024 pass is available for delivery see the How to Buy Paris 2024 Pass Online section at the bottom of the page.

You can also buy/use the Paris 2024 Pass on some mobile phones see How to Buy Paris 2024 Pass Online below for details.

Paris 2024 Pass Cost: 16€/day to 70€/week

The Paris 2024 Pass will cost 16€ for a single day, but the per-day price drops the more days you buy.  The Paris 2024 pass price drops to 10€/day when buying 7-days or more (i.e. 70€/week for a maximum of 2 weeks).  The Paris 2024 pass is available as a paper coupon-like ticket only for the 1-day version.  For Paris 2024 pass durations of 2 days to 14 days, it will need to be put onto a Navigo Easy card (or your Android mobile phone running one of the Paris transport apps).  The Navigo Easy card itself costs 2€. Unless you’re using a Paris Transport mobile phone app to hold your Paris 2024 pass, which avoids the 2€ card fee.

How to Buy Paris 2024 Pass Online

You can buy the Paris 2024 Pass online, shipped to your home from pass.paris2024.iledefrance-mobilites.fr.

The physical Paris 2024 Pass will be put onto a Navigo Easy card (additional 2€) and sent via tracked letter for home delivery.

When you receive your Paris 2024 Pass, it will be on a Navigo Easy card, which is Paris’ multi-use, reusable fare card for public transport.  If you buy more than 7 days of Paris 2024 Pass, you will receive more than one Navigo Easy card, but they won’t be labeled as to which card holds which amount of days of Paris 2024 Pass.  Do not mix up the cards and use them simultaneously.  Once a Paris 2024 Pass is validated (used to enter the Metro/RER/bus/tram) it will begin its validity period of however many days you ordered.

To see how many days of pass each card holds, install the IDF Mobilités app onto your Android phone or iPhone and use the app to read the Navigo Easy cards to show how many days of Paris 2024 Pass each card holds. (Thank you to the person who wrote me about this functionality that works on the IDF Mobilités app, but not the Bonjour RATP app.)  Once you know which card is which, you may wish to use a permanent marker or a sticker to mark/identify each card to remember which card to use first.  After that card is exhausted, begin using the next card.

Delivery / shipment of the Paris 2024 Pass is available to the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, China, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France(excluding territories), Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, New -Zealand, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, United Kingdom, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United States.

Delivery fees for Paris 2024 pass vary by country, but an example fee for delivery to United States is 4.45€.

Shipping can take up to 30 days so purchasing by June 20, 2024 would be recommended. After June 20, buying in-person in France is a better option.

Note: the official Paris 2024 Pass website to buy your Olympics transport pass was a bit of a mess in February 2024, but hopefully it’s fixed by the time you’re reading this. Problems I’ve seen previously using the site:

  • Can’t complete the account creation process in English.  (I had to switch to French at the top of the screen and redo the sign-up process.).  You can switch to English after creating an account.
  • When adding a mailing / delivery address, most addresses are listed in French (when using the website in English).  For example: UK will be listed as Royaume-Uni, Germany = Allemagne, etc.
  • You cannot change your delivery address after adding one.
  • You cannot add a 2nd address after adding one.
  • The province field in the address form is not saving that field of information.

The Paris 2024 Pass can also be bought & used directly from your Android mobile phone using the Ile-de-France Mobilités Android phone app (Android only).  The iPhone version of the Ile-de-France Mobilités app cannot hold the Paris 2024 Pass (or any transit pass / transit tickets) at the moment. iPhone users will need to use either a physical Navigo Easy plastic smart card to hold their Paris 2024 Pass or use the (under development) Public Transport Paris 2024 mobile phone app scheduled for release in June 2024.

How to Buy Paris 2024 Pass In-Person

The Paris 2024 Pass will be similar to the Navigo week pass requiring you to load the pass onto either the Ile-de-France Mobilités Android phone app (Android only) or a Navigo Easy card.  (Navigo Easy cards can hold a variety of Paris transit fares.  Paris 2024 pass is just one of them.)

The Navigo Easy card can be purchased at any Paris Metro / Paris RER / Transilien train station ticket window or ticket office, and from June onwards, at automated ticket machines, including at CDG Terminal 2 Airport train station or CDG Terminal 1/3 train station.  At Orly Airport, you can buy Navigo Easy cards at the Terminal 4 bus loop Orlybus ticket window.

During the purchase process of a new Navigo Easy card, you can select what fares to load onto the card.  In this case, you would be choosing the Paris 2024 pass for anywhere from 1-day to 14-days.

If you already have a Navigo Easy card, you can add/renew the Paris 2024 transport pass using either iPhone or Android mobile phone apps (using your phone’s NFC capabilities, if available), or at any Paris Metro/RER/Transilien ticket window or any automated ticket machine.
