Different ticket plan for parents and child

By | February 10, 2020 | in

hi ben, i am going to paris from cdg and plan to go to val d’europe, then back to hotel in montmartre. I read about navigo jour and paris visite. Even navigo jour pass is cheaper for adults, it doesn’t do the same with child fare. So i intended to buy navigo jour for adults and paris visite for my child. However, Is it allowed?
thank you for the help

Yes, you can buy a Navigo Jour day pass for yourself and have your child use a Paris Visite day ticket. That's not a problem.
You could also consider a Ticket Mobilis 1-5 zone day ticket for yourself instead of Navigo Jour, if you only need a single day of transit coverage.  This way you can avoid the 5€ card fee for Navigo by using a Ticket Mobilis day ticket which is a paper ticket and has no card fee.
