Buying and and using a navigo decouverte pass

I arrive early Sunday morning into CDC. Could I purchase a Paris Navigo Decouverte weekly pass to use from Monday on, but could I add a JOUR pass for use on Sunday?

Yes you can do exactly that, buy a Navigo week pass and add a Navigo day pass for use on Sunday the day of arrival.
