We are tourists from London, a family of 4, two adults and two children 10 and 15 years old. Today was our second day in Paris and we understood that we only need to use a ticket to enter the metro , but don’t need to keep it fir getting out. However we were stopped and fined €35 each on a way out because we couldn’t find 3 of four tickets. I am looking at the rules and cannot find any information about fines.
Furthermore, there’s no information on the ticket that we need to keep it all the way, and no information when we purchased it.
What is a coomplain procedure? We believe that we were obused as customers due to the luck of information.
