Our scheduled arrival time at CDG via Air France direct from Vancouver is 8:35AM. We are hoping then to catch a train that leaves CDG for Bordeaux at 10:16AM. Do we have enough time after landing to make the train?

If the flight lands on time, I think you'll have enough time, but not much room for error. Passport control is quick depending on how far back in the plane you're sitting. Usually 15 min. Luggage collection will be about 30-40 minutes after parking at the gate. After that you walk to the Terminal 2 train station, 10 minutes I'd assume, and then buy TGV tickets from the Grandes Lignes office another 10 minutes.
