How to get to Ars: Saint John Vianney from Lourdes or Paris?

Hi,
I will be in France in October 6,2016. It is the first time I be there for 1 week. Could you me how to take transportation to Ars: Saint John Vianney  If I start  from Lourdes or Paris?
What type of pass I should be buy to use all the transportation in France?

A train from Lourdes or Paris to Cognac is the closest you'll get to Ars by train.  From Cognac you can take a bus or taxi to Ars.
 
Check train schedules & buy train tickets from Paris or Lourdes to Cognac.
