Looking for an adventure so want to go by train from Gloucester via London to Paris have a glass of wine (and meal) and return all in one day, First class.

Eurostar trains can travel from London to Paris, one-way in about 2 hours 30 minutes, so yes it's possible to make a round trip in a single day.
