My mom and I will be arriving at the ORY airport on Thursday and will be at Paris at Wednesday. I was wondering what good options we have in terms of traveling since we need access to zone 5 as that is where our hotel will be located. Should we purchase the navigo pass or Pass Visite?

The best and cheapest option is still Navigo even if you arrive on Thursday. You'll need to purchase another week of subscription of Navigo on Sunday (or anytime from Friday onwards really) for use from Monday till Wednesday and this will get you back to CDG airport or Orly airport.
