Hi, how would I get from Orly airport to Paris city centre on New Year’s Day? Do the trains/busses running a limited service? I’m travelling with my wife 2 children to Disney land but stopping in Paris centre on New Year’s Day. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Chris

Since you're going into Paris city centre on your arrival day from Orly, I can recommend the Paris Visite 1-5 zone 1-day ticket for each of you (there's a children 9 & under version with a discounted price). This will allow you to take the OrlyVal train from Orly Airport to Antony station along the RER B line (very short ride & terminates at Antony so you can't miss the stop). From there you can transfer to RER B train in direction Aeroport Charles de Gaulle 2 and riding until Saint Michel - Notre Dame station, which is very central.
The Paris Visite ticket will allow you to take any RER, Metro, Bus, Tram while you are in Paris and also the RER A out to Disneyland Paris when you are ready (up until midnight when the ticket expires).
Train service in Paris during New Year's day is normal (there's actually extra trains running earlier than normal) with operation frequency the same as any Sunday or holiday (which is nearly the same as weekday operation, but with less frequency & ends later into the evening).
