Public transport this weekend

By | January 8, 2020 | in

Hi
We arrive on Friday and stay until Monday 13th January.  Is there any point in advance purchase of train/bus tickets?  Should we just wait and see what's running/open?  I see that Saturday is a big public demonstration day :-(
Thanks in advance for your help.

Weekend services are more impacted by Paris train strike action than weekdays, Sunday especially, as these don't affect the workday/workweek.  So, I think you are right to wait and see what train / bus services are running before purchasing.  Keep in mind that there are several buses from CDG Airport into Paris that could be potential options, such as Bus 350, Bus 351, Roissybus, in addition to the usual RER B train from CDG to Paris.
