Question regarding Paris travel pass

By | April 11, 2024 | in

If I purchase the 7-day pass, from which day is day 1? For example, if I arrive on August 1st, how do you know that it is day number 1 for me, as the period extends from July 20th to September 8th?

The Paris 2024 pass for the Olympics period, will begin its validity period upon first validation at a turnstile / fare gate.

So for a 7-day Paris 2024 pass, if you first validate the pass at a fare gate at say CDG Airport train station on August 1st (any time that day), that will be day 1 and the pass will expire at 11:59:59pm on August 7.

Keep in mind that the first validation will mark that day as Day One, regardless of what time of day you make that first validation.  If you validate it at 00:01 on August 1st, you'll get 23 hours and 59 minutes of pass use / coverage out of Day One.  If you validate the pass at 23:59 (one minute before midnight) on August 1st, you get one minute of coverage for Day One.  And coverage for the 7-day pass will end at midnight on Day Seven.  Coverage expiration time will not match the time you made your first validation with the Paris 2024 pass.
