Should I take a Navigo pass all zone included if I go from zone 3 to zone 2 thought zone 1 (gare st lazare) ? Or can I still take a Navigo pass for zone 2-3 only?

I am looking to get a Navigo pass for my communte to work as I am planning to go back to my office once a week. I live in zone 3 and my work is in zone 2. However, I would go through zone 1 (Gare St lazare) to reach my work destination in zone 2.

If any part of your trip enters a zone, then to be within regulations you'd need to have coverage for that zone, so a Navigo with all zones would be the option for correct coverage.  (Controllers can be on trains at any part of your trip and asking for your ticket/pass.  While in zone 1, having a zone 2-3 pass would mean you're liable for a fine.) If you're there for a long duration you could look into Navigo Annuel and save a bit of money.  It's debited monthly so you can still cancel it during the year and not have to pay anything beyond your most recent month paid.
