What is the best solution when the ticket machine at an RER station is inoperative? I had such an occurence this Saturday (14 July). The ticket machine at Le Bourget station wasn't working so I ordered Uber to take me to Drancy station. Guess what... Same thing there. Finally I just took the train without buying the ticket. Of course had to push myself through the gates at Gare du Nord behind another person to get out of the station there.
