Hi Ben, thank you for providing all your guidance on train tickets.
we are coming to Paris next week and i bought some t+ tickets on the ile de france app last week.
We have a 8 year old, and as she does not have her own phone, I am not sure if I can add t+ tickets for her, as an additional account, on to my phone?

Unfortunately it's not possible to have two people use a single phone for Paris Metro tickets. I think the next easiest solution would be to buy your daughter a Navigo Easy card upon arrival (from a Paris Metro/RER ticket vending machine or a Metro/RER station ticket window) which she'll use to hold her ticket t+. You'll be able to buy her a booklet/"carnet" of 10 ticket t+ for the discounted price of 16€ since she's under 10. (Discount only applies to booklet of 10; no discount on individual tickets. Also note that Olympics prices are in effect at the moment.) Later, if you need, you can recharge her Navigo Easy card using your mobile phone with the Ile-de-France Mobilites app or any Metro/RER ticket vending machine.
Btw, if you happen to be arriving into Paris by either CDG or Orly airports, the new CDG Airport ticket to Paris and Orly airport to Paris ticket (on Metro 14) can't be put onto the same Paris transport mobile phone app or Navigo Easy card when that device/card already has Ticket t+ loaded on it. It's an unfortunate limitation of the new Paris airport tickets that they clash with the Paris Metro tickets.
In the case when your phone or Navigo Easy card already has Ticket t+ loaded onto it your only option is to purchase another Navigo Easy card to use solely for the airport ticket. Hopefully the train authority will fix this issue in the future, but for the moment we're stuck with this constraint.
Hope you have a lovely Paris visit.
