Charles de Gualle to Bordeaux

By | February 22, 2024 | in

Hello. My family will be traveling to Paris from the US on 4/22/24 to 4/30/24 and need to get to Bordeaux. I am confused on whether there are trains from Charles de Gaulle airport directly to Bordeaux. I went on the SNCF connect website but not sure what terminal we would use at Charles de Gaulle to board a train to Bordeaux. Or do we need to go to Paris Montparnasse first and then to Bordeaux? I also assume that the station in Bordeaux is St Jean. We also do need to get from Bordeaux train station to the Sheraton hotel at Bordeaux airport. On 4/27/24 we will be traveling from Bordeaux to Disneyland. Thanks

For the origin station to use in your search on sncf-connect.com type: "aeroport" and you'll see "Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport (TGV Station CDG 2)" come up in suggested places.  That's the origin station to choose for CDG Airport (the train station is located inside CDG Terminal 2).

And yes, the destination you're looking for is Bordeaux St-Jean.

There are direct trains from CDG 2 to Bordeaux St-Jean.  When you see travel times around 3 hours 43 minutes, those are direct trains.  The travel time also shows the number of connections needed in the search results on sncf-connect.com.

I'm not familiar with train services in Bordeaux to the Sheraton, but I'm sure the hotel could give you some guidance on that if you contact them.

For the Bordeaux to Disneyland trip, your search destination on sncf-connect.com should be "Marne la Vallee / Chessy", which is the TGV station right at Disneyland Paris.
