HI, i am arriving gARE DU nORD on Thursday evening.
I intend to see Paris in ONE day, Friday, covering  Grand Palais, Sacre Couer, Palais Garnier, Louvre, Notre Dame ,Champ de Ellysee, Eiffel Tower , Montparness Tower, and  Arc de Trompe . ....but only go up the Eiffel Tower.
The next day, travel to Versailles , enter the Palace, and return to Paris in the late afternoon.
Should i buy a carnett of 10 tickets ( to be shared  between 2 persons)  or a Day Ticket (how much) for Paris.
If i intend to visit Fontainebleau , which is the  most economical ticket or Pass i should buy.
Merci.

If you arrive before 23:30 on Thursday, buy a Navigo Découverte week pass, 22.80€ + 5€.  It will be cheaper and simpler than carnets or Paris Visite and will cover you for everything.

If you buy return tickets for one person Paris-Fontainebleau that alone will cost 17.70€.  Navigo week pass is much better and works for Versailles, Fontainebleau, and everything inside central Paris.
