directions from Marriott's village D'Ile de France to downtown Paris and back

By | April 24, 2024 | in

hello. we will be staying at the Marriott's Village d'Ile de France (Allee de l'orme Rond, Bailly Romainvilliers) for a week in May and plan to travel into Paris each day. Can you please advise:
best way to get to the RER (I believe we want the Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy stop)? (is there transit / a shuttle or do we need to catch an uber/taxi?
what time the RER trains start running to Paris?  Last train Paris to Marne-la--Vallee-Chessy stop?
Thank you

Hi there,
It looks like there are several local buses in that area going between the Marriott and Marne-la-Vallée Chessy station taking roughly 20 minutes to make the trip.  It might be good to email / check with the front-desk at Marriott as well as they might have a free shuttle that goes to Disneyland and the train station is right at Disney.

The RER A trains from Marne-la-Vallée Chessy station begin running towards Paris between 05:10 and 05:15 (varies depending on the day).

Last trains from center of Paris station Chatelet les Halles depart at 00:04 and 00:36 for Marne la Vallée, but keep in mind you'll still need some method to get to Marriott after you arrive at the terminus around 01:15 and I'm not sure what time those local area buses stop running.
I believe the Navigo Week Pass and Paris Visite ticket will both cover the local buses in the Chessy area so you shouldn't need extra euro coins/cash if you're using either of those multiday fares.
Have a great trip.
