Does the RER B train in direction Airport Charles de Gaulle stop at Cité Universitaire station,
or only departure from Gare du Nord?

If you are south of Cité Universitaire and are heading towards Aéroport Charles de Gaulle, then yes, the RER B will stop at Cité Universitaire station. If you're at Gare du Nord, and are heading in direction of CDG, you are already past Cité Universitaire station (on the southern edge of central Paris).
