Hello Wondering wether anyone can give adivce/help on train tickets… I am travelling from CDG to dienysland on the 25th december 2016. MY lfight is scheduled to land at 9:00am and there are trains at 9:52 and 10:12 am and i am wondering wether this would leave me enough time to get Luggage and get on to the train. Also can i buy the tickets within the station ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Keep in mind that:

  • your flight may not arrive on time.
  • if you need to collect luggage, that can take up to 40 minutes after landing & passing customs & immigration.
  • walking to the train station within CDG Airport, takes up to 25 minutes depending at which terminal you land
  • you need to queue to purchase tickets for the TGV train

 
After which you may make your way down to the train platforms which are within 5 minutes of walking.
 
Which train you decide to purchase depends on your appetite for risk that everything goes your way, that baggage handlers are working efficiently that day, that you find your way without issue, that queues are non-existent.  9:52 I would say is near impossible to make with an on-time landing with the need to collect luggage.  10:12, perhaps...
