I will be staying at the Royal Regency in Vincennes and would like to take the metro into the city (the Louvre, Catacombs, Orangerie, Eiffel Tower, etc.) from there. Can you recommend the best route/transportation for this? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

The simplest route would be to take Paris Metro line 1 from Chateau de Vincennes station (direction La Défense) right to Louvre-Rivoli station which is connected to the Louvre Museum in the heart of Paris. To visit the Eiffel Tower, continue on Metro line 1 in direction La Défense until Charles de Gaulle Etoile station, transfer to Metro 6 direction Nation, until Trocadero. The view of the Eiffel Tower from Trocadero is the best.
