Paris in one day

By | October 17, 2019 | in

Hello,
First of all.. this site is amazing.
My family and I are flying in to CDG from BCN for one day on Easyjet. We will have about 8 hours before flying back to BCN.
We need to travel to/ from the following places:

  1. CDG
  2. Arc de Triomphe
  3. Eiffel Tower
  4. Notre Dame
  5. Louvre
  6. Back to CDG

Which ticket should we purchase?
From the research that I've done I believe we will need the following:
2 x Île-de-France (IDF) point-to-point tickets (to get to and from CDG)
10 x t+ Carnet de 10 tickets
Is this correct? I know there are zones that will be crossed which is making this very confusing. Please help!

Best ticket would be a Ticket Mobilis day ticket 1-5 zone. Price is 17.80€ for each person and covers you for everything, CDG to Paris & back and all travel inside Paris city center. It's an unlimited use paper coupon style ticket.  No discount for kids unfortunately.  Having a single Mobilis ticket cover you for everything is much simpler than organizing, handling single-use tickets.  And Mobilis is cheaper. For example it would cost 20.60€ if you used two single-use RER tickets to go from CDG to Paris and back, not including any Metro rides inside Paris.

You can buy Ticket Mobilis at ticket vending machines at CDG airport train stations (or ticket office/windows, often more straight forward than the machines). Follow the signs for RER B trains to city at CDG Airport and you'll find your way to the ticket machines/offices. You'll be able to buy all the tickets in a single transaction.  Credit card should work fine for payment.
