Hi. My wife will be taking a train from Paris Saint Lazare to Breaute-Beuzeville and then will transfer to a bus called Ligne 17 which goes to Etretat. We understand how to buy a ticket for the train. But how do we buy the ticket for the bus? Do we just pay the bus driver? Thank you

Yes it looks like you can pay the driver directly for Line 17 Bréauté Breuzeville to Etretat bus line using 2€ coins (per person, per one-way ticket).
Although they're encouraging riders to install a phone application for the region's train/bus services that provides contactless payment/fare system called "Atoumod M-Ticket". If that's possible for you, you may want to try that.
