Hi,
I asked a few weeks ago about a navigo easy pass from Cergy Préfecture. I bought it and loaded it with tickets. I bought 6 bus tickets and 2 RER tickets. I then validated it on the bus and it went green.
I was then stopped by 2 ticket officers and on the machine it was orange so they made me get off. Their app showed that I had tapped it at Cergy at the right time and the right stop. But it came up orange. It also showed I only had 5 tickets left, showing that I did in fact tap on. I had to pay 35EUR (less than the initial 72).
Would you be able to maybe clear up why it didn't validate correctly? I only bought it 8mins before getting on the bus so maybe this affected it?
Thanks.

I'm unsure why you received a fine as well. There's no minimum time needed to wait before using freshly loaded tickets.
Try using the RATP virtual assistant here: https://pv.ratp.fr/ to see if it can investigate the fine or provide an office address where you can speak to someone about the issue. I don't see how you should have been fined or what the reason was for the ticket not being valid.
The virtual assistant is a button on the bottom right hand corner of that website: https://pv.ratp.fr/
