Hi I am arriving at Paris Beauvais, i have booked the shuttle to Porte Maillot. Once there is it easy to buy a Paris Visite card or Paris Navigo card? Will I be in Zones 1 -3? Thank you

At the Porte Maillot Metro station, yes it is possible to buy a Navigo Découverte card on which you can put a Navigo Week Pass, but it depends on the ticket window having blank cards. If they don't have any available and you want to do 4+ Metro/RER/bus/tram rides that day, then a Paris Visite 1-3 zone, 1-day ticket would be useful until you can find a Metro/RER/Transilient ticket window that does have blank Navigo Découverte cards on hand to sell you. (If you happen to have an Android phone, you can buy/use Navigo from your phone using the Paris mobile phone transit app.)
Porte Maillot Metro line 1 station is actually in Paris Zone 1, right on the edge. And keep in mind that when riding the Paris Metro, zones don't matter. Paris transit zones only apply to the RER trains.
