I’ve tried the sncf app and website. All i am shown is itenaries - and the earliest such train leaves around 9am. No link or button to ‘buy tickets’. Are they all fully booked?!!! I was hoping to book for 2xadults and 2xchildren for aug 22.

There are no reserved seats on trains between Gare du Nord to Disneyland Paris and it's frequent service (trains as often as every 3 minutes) so the train authority doesn't offer online ticket sales / booking for this particular route.  These trains (RER trains) also use RER tickets which can't be put onto a mobile phone or Navigo Easy card and must use paper tickets which you can buy from any automated ticket vending machine or ticket window at Paris Metro/RER stations.

You won't have any troubles buying tickets for you & your family to get from Paris to Disneyland on August 22; you'll just walk into Gare du Nord, make your way to the RER B ticketing area, buy your tickets from machines or ticket window (for destination "Disneyland Paris") and use those tickets for both the RER B and RER A trains you'll need to get to Disneyland.

You can buy an extra set of tickets for the return trip when you buy for your outbound trip.  The RER tickets don't have to be used immediately and can be saved for later use.
