The Orly Airport train to Paris on Metro 14 will take 25 minutes between Orly Airport and Chatelet (in the heart of Paris close to the Louvre, see Paris Metro Map).  The Metro 14 Orly airport train costs 10.30€, one-way for adults & 9.40€ children (ages 4 – 9, inclusive). Navigo passes are accepted on Metro 14 to Orly Airport.  The last train departing Orly Airport station leaves at 00:34 (12:34 AM) Sunday through Thursday and 01:34 AM Friday & Saturday evenings.  The first/earliest train departing Orly Airport for Paris leaves Orly station at 05:30 AM, everyday.

Tickets & Passes for Orly Airport Metro 14

Single-use Orly-Paris Metro 14 train fare will cost 10.30€ + 2€ for adults and 9.40€ + 2€ for children ages 4 – 9 (inclusive). The + 2€ is for the Navigo Easy card on which to put the Orly Metro 14 ticket.
Single-use ticket price for Metro 14 Orly Airport to Paris cost 10.30€, adults and 9.40€ for children ages 4 to 9 (inclusive). Update: the Paris train authority has decided at the last moment not to sell single-use paper tickets for Orly-Paris on Metro 14 and is only offering Orly-Paris train fares on Navigo Easy cards OR on your Android / iPhone using the Ile-de-France Mobilités app OR directly from Apple Wallet (not available on Google Wallet).  Using the mobile app or Apple Wallet will avoid the 2€ fee for the Navigo Easy card.

Currently there are only two automated ticket vending machines serving the new Orly Airport Metro 14 station from which everyone (not in possession of a Navigo Easy card, compatible smartphone) will need to use to purchase a new Navigo Easy card with a Orly Metro 14 fare. Hopefully this situation will improve by the time the Paris 2024 Olympics arrives as the wait for machine access can be pretty long.

Passes

Passes Accepted on Orly-Paris Metro 14 train:

Navigo Week Pass is accepted on Metro 14 between Orly and Paris.  Navigo Day Pass 1-5 zone is also accepted (Orly Airport is in Paris transport Zone 4).  Paris Visite tickets zones 1-5 will be accepted as well on Metro 14 from Orly to Paris. (Apparently, Paris Visite ticket holders will require staff to open the fare gates manually for them as the fare gates are not set to handle the Paris Visite paper tickets at the moment.)

Navigo Week Pass at Orly Airport is still only available at Orlybus ticket window at Orly Terminal 4 bus loop. A staffed ticket window for Metro 14 Orly Airport station has not been installed as of June 24, 2024. For passengers without a new/compatible smart phone, buying a new Navigo Easy card will be required to board the Orly-Paris Metro 14 train.

Note that regular Paris Metro tickets (Ticket t+) are not accepted for Paris to Orly Airport on Metro 14.  Even though Paris region transport fare zones don’t apply to the Paris Metro, this new extension to Orly Airport along Paris Metro line 14 has a special fare just like how the RER B has a special fare for CDG Airport.

Metro 14 Paris to Orly Extension

Paris Metro line 14 originally ran from Saint Lazare station in central Paris to Olympiades station in south east of Paris.  Metro 14 has added 7 new stations beyond Olympiades to connect to Aéroport d’Orly / Orly Airport, its new terminus south east of Paris in 2024.  The Orly Airport Metro station is accessed via the Orly 1-2-3 terminal buildings.

In the Paris Metro 14 map below, the thicker purple line between Olympiades station and Aeroport d’Orly is the new extension line section connecting Olympiades station in Paris to Orly Airport.  The seven new stations opened on June 24, 2024 are: Maison Blanche, Hôpital Bicêtre, Villejuif-Gustave Roussy (opening December 2024), L’Haÿ-les-Roses, Chevilly-Larue, Thiais-Orly and finally Aéroport d’Orly.
