Wheelchair accessible to Versailles/Rive Gauche

By | August 12, 2019 | in

Hello,
I'm planning a trip to Paris with a family member that uses an electric wheelchair for mobility. Is the RER C from Paris to Versailles Rive Gauche handicap accessible?

Gare d'Austerlitz and Invalides stations in Paris are wheelchair accessible along the RER C line of Paris, but they will require another person's assistance to actually board the train (small gap between the platform and train itself prevents self-wheeling onto the train, signal the conductor of the train in the head car for assistance with a portable boarding platform that can be placed over the gap.)

Versailles Rive Gauche station is also handicap accessible upon arrival.
