Will I be able to use an existing Navigo easy pass preloaded with single tickets during the Olympic months or will they only accept an Olympic Pass?

You can use an existing Navigo Easy card with preloaded Metro tickets during the Paris 2024 Olympics. The Navigo Easy card isn't changing for the Paris 2024 Olympics and the Paris 2024 pass is being put onto existing Navigo Easy cards that are currently in circulation.
The Paris 2024 pass isn't a physical card, but the name of a "fare" they've created for the Olympics, and it requires some physical device to hold the fare, either a Navigo Easy card, or a supported mobile phone.
You may wish to try reloading your Navigo Easy card with more Paris Metro tickets, using the Paris transit mobile phone app, prior to July 20, 2024, when prices for single metro tickets goes up from 2.15€ to 4€.
